Draft for Todd’s review before launch. This page describes the current site setup. The adult site administrator must confirm the contact method, retention periods, and any applicable legal requirements before the site begins accepting reader information.

Karrah’s Journey is a personal blog at https://karrahsjourney.com. Please do not share sensitive health information, school details, addresses, or other private information in comments or messages.

Comments

The comment form collects your name, email address, and comment. WordPress also records an IP address and browser information for administration and spam prevention. Your approved display name and comment appear publicly. Your email address and IP address are not displayed publicly.

Comments are reviewed before publication and screened by Antispam Bee. Comment avatars and commenter website fields are disabled. The administrator can remove comments or mark them as spam.

Contact messages

The contact form is currently disabled while its approved adult-controlled inbox and spam protection are configured. When enabled, your name, email, subject, and message will be sent to that inbox. The custom contact plugin does not keep a separate message database. Mail and hosting providers may process delivery information.

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile will process browser and connection signals to help prevent automated submissions. Read the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum. The site also uses a short-lived, hashed connection identifier to limit repeated submissions.

Cookies and hosting

WordPress uses cookies for authorized sign-in and editing. If a comment form offers to remember your details, that choice stores them in your browser. Hosting and security systems may retain technical access logs. No advertising or analytics service has been added as part of this build.

Photographs and external content

Public images can be downloaded. Only approved photographs should be uploaded, with private and location details removed. If posts later include content embedded from another website, that provider may collect information according to its own policies.

Retention and requests

Comments and their metadata remain until removed by an administrator. Account information is retained while an account exists. Todd must confirm a retention schedule for comments, mail, backups, and hosting logs, and provide an approved contact method for access or deletion requests.

Before launch: add the adult administrator’s approved privacy contact and confirmed retention details here. WordPress provides tools for the administrator to export and erase eligible personal data.
